Yesterdays Cafe

Yesterdays Cafe is an old schoolhouse that was turned into a cafe back in the 70s. They are a historic site, with the best pie in all of Montana. They needed a menu makeover during the summer of 2020. The managers asked me to create a menu that was vibrant, detailed and organized, simple to read (especially for senior citizens), and represented the type of food they made.

For this project, we stayed with old cursive and serif typography. With a detailed border and worn paper background, we can keep consistency throughout the menu, while changing our layout within the items. A bright blue signifies the seven main categories, while red shares the important names and prices.
